Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Resolv ("we", "us"), an AI support widget platform operated from France. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Resolv provides a platform that allows software companies and developers ("operators") to embed an AI-powered support assistant on their website or product. The assistant answers questions using documentation the operator provides and can perform API actions the operator explicitly enables.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into contracts on behalf of yourself or your organisation. Resolv is intended for business use. By registering, you confirm you meet these requirements.
3. Account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@resolv.club if you suspect unauthorised access.
Each account corresponds to one workspace and one registered service. You may not share your account with third parties.
4. Subscription and billing
- Resolv is offered at €18 per month per workspace, billed monthly.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges until you cancel.
- You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
- We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused time.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
5. Your content and data
You retain ownership of all documentation, configuration, and data you upload to Resolv. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit your content solely to provide the service.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process any content you submit, and that doing so complies with applicable law. You are also responsible for providing your end users with appropriate privacy notices covering data processing by Resolv (see our Privacy Policy).
6. Admin API keys
If you configure an admin API key, you acknowledge that Resolv stores it encrypted at rest and holds the encryption key as the platform operator, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the security of any key you provide and for scoping that key's permissions appropriately before configuring it on Resolv.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Resolv to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Deceive, defraud, or harm end users
- Process sensitive personal data (health, financial, biometric) without appropriate safeguards
- Circumvent any security or access control measure
- Probe, scan, or test the security of Resolv's infrastructure
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or other customers
- Resell or sublicense access to Resolv
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without notice in serious cases.
8. AI-generated content
Resolv uses AI models to generate responses. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any response the assistant produces. You are responsible for reviewing the documentation you upload and the endpoints you enable, and for informing your users that they are interacting with an AI.
9. Service availability
We aim to keep Resolv available and reliable, but we make no uptime guarantee. The service is provided "as is" during the early access period. We may perform maintenance, deploy updates, or modify features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resolv's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under French law, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Resolv harmless from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. On termination, your data is retained for 30 days then deleted, except where law requires longer retention.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
